GKTECH = Z34 370Z/V36 SKYLINE REAR SUBFRAME SLIP-IN COLLARS

DESCRIPTION

The GKTECH Z34 370z/V36 Skyline rear subframe collars are used to eliminate axle tramp and to also tighten up the rear end giving more precise control of the vehicle under harsh driving conditions. The OEM bushes are designed more for comfort than performance and by filling the voids within the factory subframe bushes it makes the subframe much more "as one" with the car. Noise isn't drastically effected compared to going to solid subframe bushes and these inserts are far easier to install than going to a solid subframe bush.

FAQ'S

Semi-solid or solid?That's a good question. In most cases, you won't notice the feel of either as these inserts only fill the void that the OEM rubber bush leaves rather than being a complete replacement. The semi solid inserts can be a little more difficult to install if your OEM bushes are really badly worn but in almost all cases the semi-solid are perfectly fine and being significantly cheaper to produce/sell, are our recommendation.

Will this fit my car?We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.Do you make these to suit other cars?We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.What's the advantage of using the GKTech slip in collars?The slip in collars sit above and below your standard subframe bushes and essentially compact them. This results in less movement of the subframe and eliminates axle tramp and increases stiffness in the rear of the vehicle.What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?No modifications are required, simply just loosen your subframe while supporting it, slip in the collars and re-torque the subframe.

Is there anything else needed for installation?No, you can use your existing subframe and nuts. In terms of the collars themselves, they will arrive as shown in the product photo.Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?Yes, the installation is pretty straight forward. The slip in collars are as the name suggests, slip in. Installation should take around 45 minutes.

Is there a noticeable difference in the feel of the car when driving around normally? Ie. any vibrations?If you don't already have coilovers and other noisy parts then you will notice an increase in NVH however if you're running coilovers, there's no notable difference
