So we have been flooded with request's in regards to development of a 6 Speed Sequential Transmission and we have finally started the first stages of this project by creating this link for the public to place orders so we can fund the project, this project would be completed by end of 2024 if everything goes well in terms of pre-order volume. 

( GTST / BARRA / GM / FORD / TOYOTA / AWD / RWD / Z32 / Z33 ) 
We will be making the Transmission suit a universal application, which basically means it can fit almost anything. Capable of OVER 1,200HP / 1,500nM (1100 Ft.lbs) SAFELY around the Circuit due to the large centre distance between shafts.

We obviously deal with plenty of Skyline customers around the globe, the fitment we have in mind is Skyline R32-33-34 GTR & GTST options, to run the Factory Automatic Bell Housing, with the capability to run the 4WD Transfer Case and Shifter in the OEM Location on the Nissan Skyline lineup.

Transmission could be adapted to various other platforms by having a bolt pattern on the front of the Casing to allow a SFI Approved Quicktime Bell Housing, Quicktime make housings for just about anything. (See Link)

Option's on the Input Shaft side of things would be ;
  • 24 Spline NISSAN (Applications upto 600HP)
  • 26 Spline GM/FORD (Applications over 600HP to 1200HP)
  • 29 Spline GM (Applications beyond 1200HP)

    For Pre-Order's we will have these priced the at the same rate.
We would make the front of the Transmission Suit the 8000 series Tilton Hydraulic Release Bearing meaning you could easily adapt any clutch as Tilton make bearings suit various sized clutch diaphragms. (See Link)

Gear Display unit is NOT included but we will be ensuring that you are able to fit the Novotechnik SP2846 Rotary Sensor Potentiometer which is essentially a Gear Display Sensor which would allow you to run CLOSED LOOP Shifts. You can program this to your display unit like AIM, MOTEC,AEM to Display your Gear Position also.

This way of measuring Gear Position is ultimate in terms of shifting speeds and reliability, with shifts as fast as ~38-40mS if tuned correctly, please contact your local tuner to set this up. This unit can be fitted to the front of the Transmission as we provide the mounting hardware to do so. You will only need to purchase the sensor online. (See Link)

    -RWD Application with Endless amounts of possibilities to be fitted to various cars, we provide a 31 SPLINE Heavy Duty Mainshaft, Slip Yoke suit 1350 Universals & Rear Extension Housing to match with Shifter Location in the Factory Position you see in the RB25DET R33 Skyline .

    (This would be measured from face of bell housing to the Shifter position using the Automatic Bell Housing, be mindful this will vary depending on bell housing, but nothing is stopping you from using a dog leg Shifter to bring the Shifter into the location you need if you are running this transmission in another vehicle)

    - This would essentially accept the factory Shifter Base Plate & Shifter or our Racespec Shifter (See Link)

    Oil Capacity of the Transmission would be approximately 4L filled up, give or take. We would have the provisions for an External Oil Cooler & Pump on the housings for those doing Circuit Racing to control Temperatures to the desired heat range.
This would be a kit, you would need to build it yourself, they would come with instructions, or we could offer a built unit aswell for slightly more ($1,500 + GST)

How do we do such a fantastic Transmission for this price? We do it by ramping up production volume and bringing the costs right down.

We would have the RRP of $15,000 once these are complete and on the shelf in the near future, we do plan on offering these as complete built units for alittle extra once we have finished stock, so it would be best to pre-order and save.

What is the main advantage of helical gears over straight cut gears?


Helical gears in gearboxes provide various benefits over straight cut gears including greater tooth contact area, higher load capability whilst offering a smooth, quiet operation.

Be mindful these are intended for Rapid Quick Shift's, very different to a Factory Synchronized Transmission.


The Input Shafts we will be making would be universal fitment, for us this would mean we would make the shaft quite long with a fair amount of spline length, and once you place an order please advise us what engine you would be fitting this to with what bell housing you plan on using, this way we can measure your bell housing/engine combo and machine the nose of the input shaft to the right length with the right diameter spigot/pilot drive.

As progress occurs with this project, we will be updating everyone with pictures and drawings, parts samples and everything else that goes with it to keep everyone upto date with the latest information on where we stand with the project.

We will be offering constant parts support on these Transmissions which means parts would be available off the shelf in the future, and with our solid 6 month unconditional warranty program we run with all our Gearset's we Manufacture this ensures your investment is well worth it.
