VG shifter which is made with a shortened bracket is specifically designed for swaps where the shifter needs to be positioned further forward. This means that if you're installing a VG (Z32) transmission in your S-Chassis or Z31 300Z, this bracket will enable you to use the stock center console, It moves the shifter forward by approx 62mm, you’ll have to trim the rod which connects to the shifter to move this shifter forward when using the “S Chassis” Version.
