Speedtek=CNC Billet Shift Fork 4140 Chromoly Steel suit 1st & 2nd Gear RB25 RB26 VG30

  • Sale
  • Regular price $440.00

Introducing our Billet Shift Fork crafted from robust 4140 Chromoly Steel, designed specifically for RB25DET & RB26DETT transmissions, targeting 1st & 2nd gear.

A direct replacement for the Genuine Factory Shift Fork, notorious for its susceptibility to failure.

Utilizing premium materials and adhering to stringent tolerance standards, we confidently assert that our fork stands as the pinnacle in the market.

Engineered for enhanced shift response and greater stability, our fork boasts an extensive 180-degree contact surface area with the shift sleeve. In contrast, standard shift forks feature only two contact points on the outer edges, leading to increased load and wear. This design also reduces the effort required by the driver to engage 1st and 2nd gear, thanks to the ample contact area between the shift fork and the shift sleeve.

To our knowledge, no other manufacturer offers Chromoly billet shift forks for these transmissions. Furthermore, we enhance durability by nitriding them, providing an even stronger surface finish.

Rest assured, our fork is engineered to endure, likely lasting a lifetime.

Isotropic superfinishing is a surface finishing process that produces an ultra-smooth surface with minimal roughness. It extends the life of a steel chromoly shift fork and helps it operate more smoothly.

By creating a very smooth surface, isotropic superfinishing reduces the friction between the shift fork and other components. This leads to less wear and tear, extending the lifespan of the shift fork.“What is Nitriding? A heat treating process that diffuses nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a case-hardened surface. These processes are most commonly used on low-carbon, low-alloy steels. They are also used on medium and high-carbon steels, titanium, aluminium and molybdenum.”
