The Aeroflow Performance Subaru direct fit bolt in in-tank fuel module is specifically designed for the Subaru WRX (08-21), STi (15-21), Forester (08-18) and Legacy (05-09) models. It will work with both EJ25 and FA20 engines, but it will require an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and return fuel line installed, as these later models (15-21 WRX and 14-18 Forester) are a return less system with an internal fuel pressure regulator.
This dual fuel pump hanger is CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and accepts 40mm diameter fuel pumps sold separately (THESE FUEL PUMPS MUST FEATURE INTERNAL CHECK VALVES). This will perfectly support higher power levels while still retaining the factory fuel tank with all standard seals, lock rings and slots into the exact OEM factory location. It also allows you to reuse the OEM fuel level sender for complete compatibility with factory electronics. In some models the fuel level temperature sensor must be deleted, when using this module a aftermarket ECU will be able to switch this feature off as it is not required.
The Aeroflow fuel pump hanger includes a venturi jet pump with a new integrated pressure-relief valve to minimize back pressure. Especially over the factory Subaru version which is restrictive with higher flowing fuel pumps that will be used. All returning fuel from the pressure regulator and crossover hose exit the jet pump keeping the OEM tank baffle full for starvation protection.
The module features our 3 wire electrical bulkheads to allow the user to wire each fuel pump individually to stage them when required. With the third set of wires for the OEM fuel level sender to keep the wiring neat and in one location. With -8ORB ports for feed, and -6ORB return and crossover with factory OEM push to connect fittings installed.
IMPORTANT: This fuel hanger eliminates the fine-micron in-tank fuel filter of the OEM fuel pump hanger. It is highly recommended to use the aftermarket fuel filter sock that comes with this kit. This smaller filter sock allows both fuel pumps to fit within the module. These fuel filter socks are also available separately (AF59-1040).
